Pecha Kucha is a unique presentation style in which 20 slides are shown for 20 seconds, resulting in a 6 minute and 40 second presentation. The 22nd volume of Pecha Kucha Orlando was presented in March 2018.
GEORGE ROSENFIELD’S CLIMB TO GLORY
A native of Boston, George Rosenfield reported to the U.S. Army Ski Troops, later renamed the 10th Mountain Division, in 1944. Rosenfield was part of Operation Encore, a series of attacks on the Germans that became known as the “Climb to Glory.”
HARRY LOWENSTEIN - A HOLOCAUST SURVIVOR REMEMBERS
As a boy growing up in Germany, Harry Lowenstein experienced the rise of Adolf Hitler and the brutal treatment of Jews. In the early 1940s, Lowenstein, along with his father, mother and sister, were sent to Kaiserwald, a concentration camp in present-day Latvia. Lowenstein lives in Kissimmee, Florida.

Space Coast Honor Flight is part of a network of nonprofit organizations that takes U.S. military veterans to Washington, D.C., to see the memorials of their respective wars. (This is part of a project for PBS called "G.I. Jews.")

George Braunstein has witnessed segregation and experienced antisemitism, but it hasn’t changed his love for America. Braunstein joined the U.S. Army at age 19. Braunstein, who lives in Orlando, Florida, later received two Purple Hearts and a Bronze Star.
